A writer, Maureen Callahan, compares Meghan’s lawsuit to Johnny Depp’s recent libel lawsuit. Both Meghan and Depp are American celebrities who decided to take legal action against the British media.
However, Callahan points out that Depp’s lawsuit didn’t end too well for him, so Callahan urges Meghan to “drop his libel suit immediately.” As Callahan points out, Depp’s trial was initially a battle over the use of a phrase in the media, but it ended up revealing a wealth of unpleasant information about his marriage to Amber Heard.
