Press Release from Humboldt County Joint Information Center:
After three new cases were reported today, a total of H1 H Humboldt County residents tested positive for COVID-19.
Two of the county’s three hazard warning levels – the capacity of the health care system and the effectiveness of disease control – improved and moved to level two or yellow, one or green. The change in health care system capacity is due to the attitudes of hospitalized COVID-19 patients and the availability of critical medical resources. The change in disease control effectiveness is due to the effectiveness of community mitigation and effective health efforts to control the spread of Covid-19.
The COVID-19 warning level spread remains at two or yellow levels, which keeps the overall warning level at two or two levels yellow. To view the county’s alert level assessment tool, visit Humboldtgov.r. / Visit the dashboard.
