Coronavirus Live News: Paris’s face is being put on ‘maximum warning’ as India is close to 100,000 deaths World News

According to FP reports, Health Minister iv Levier Veran said on Thursday that French authorities could put Paris on maximum virus alert as early as Monday, possibly closing all bars and requiring other new controls as the Covid-19 case escalates. iv Liver Vera said on Thursday.

The maximum warning threshold has already been breached in the capital and its nearby suburbs, which are made up of about seven million inhabitants, Vera said at a press conference.

“We need a few days to confirm the trends, but if it is confirmed, we will have no option but to give a maximum warning from Monday,” he said.

“This means that people in Paris and the suburbs will have to limit their social interaction too much … family gatherings, no more evenings, and complete closure of bars.”

“We are at a stage where the situation is getting worse.”

So far only the southern city of Marseille and the Caribbean region of Guadeloupe have been given the maximum warning, leading to the closure of bars as well as restaurants and the closure of public places such as museums and cinemas until strict security is in place.

But Vera said five other cities – Lille, Lyon, Grenoble, Toulouse and Saint-Etienne – could also be placed on maximum alert next week.

Already in Paris, the bar has to close at 10:00 (2000 GMT) and the gym is completely closed.

The government has said it will take all necessary precautions to avoid a new state of emergency, which will require a mid-March to mid-May normal, like a political lockdown imposed at the height of the spread.
