Coronavirus Live News: India ranks second worst affected country with ODI record of over 90,000 cases World News

The safety of the students and all those who work in the school is my biggest priority.

Naturally this is a big disappointment after working so hard to get the school back up and running.

I will keep a close eye on the systems we have put in place to try to understand how the transmission happened and to make sure we do everything possible to limit the chances of it being the same thing again.

I am very disappointed with the beginning of this period of school.

We have taken very comprehensive precautions.

We were glad that the term started very well last week and was waiting for the final two year groups starting (Monday).

But I have excellent support from Public Health England, Public Health Suffolk and Suffolk County Council.

We are committed to doing everything possible to prevent further spread of the virus and agreeing to take precautionary measures to stop children (Monday).

Further contact tracing will continue and additional students and staff will be asked to self-isolate.
