Controversial scientist Scott Atlas, who has Donald Trump’s ears, has removed a tweet from Twitter in which he falsely states that the mask fails to protect against the coronavirus.
The Washington Post, meanwhile, reports that Atlas has spread discord within the White House, so Coronavirus Response Coordinator Deborah Burks was incensed that she had complained to Vice-President Mike Pence and called for Atlas to be removed.
The Post reports that at a meeting of the Oval Office Fees, Atlas placed himself behind a resolution desk after Trump left the room. The account was rejected by a senior fellow scientist at the Stanford-based Hoover Institute.
On Sunday, Twitter tweeted: “Does the mask work?” No. The company said the post violated its Covid-19 misinformation policy, which prohibits “sharing harmful or misleading content.”

Chinese Health officials investigating the recent Covid-19 outbreak say they have found live coronavirus on frozen food packaging, which suggests the virus may survive in a cold supply chain.
On Saturday, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said it had found traces of live covid-19 on the outer packing of frozen cod in the east coast city of Qingdao, the first time a live coronavirus had been found outside. Refrigerated goods. Researchers were investigating the source of a recent cluster of cases involving a hospital in Qingdao.
Genetic traces have previously been found in frozen food samples but no live virus has been isolated before this.
“It has been confirmed that contact with contaminated outer packaging from the new coronavirus could lead to infection,” the agency said in a statement on its website, adding that the batch of frozen food came from somewhere.
China, which reported no new domestic cases in 55 days until the Qingdao outbreak, is one of the few countries to draw attention to the potential transmission through stagnant food. When another outbreak broke out in Beijing in June after the virus was contained in large quantities, officials suggested the new cluster could come from imported salmon.
U.S. Department of Disease Control and Prevention The Center said there was no evidence that “handling or consuming food is associated with Covid-19”. New Zealand ruled out the possibility of one of its first infections occurring in a cold storage facility.
