Indian actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter were hospitalized for contracting COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, media reported on Saturday.

Both the mother and daughter were “fine,” the PTI news agency reported, citing hospital sources.

Amitabh and Abhishek were also reported to be stable with mild symptoms of the virus when they entered the hospital isolation room.

Amitabh has been regularly sending Twitter messages since her hospitalization.
