Control’s Alan Wake AWE extension adds 11 new achievements

The definitive expansion of Control is launched today, and we’ve picked up a healthy performance list for the DLC. The AWE as Altered World Events DLC adds 11 new achievements to the supernatural action adventure of developer Remedy Entertainment.
AWE takes Jesse to the research house of the oldest house. The sector was permanently shut down years ago after a catastrophic accident occurred in the area. Jesse is sent into Research to hunt down a strange creature that has been shaking in the sector for years. To find the particular creature, Jesse must explore and investigate other Altered World Events from the past, including one from the city of Bright Falls, which appears in Alan Wake. The author has been missing for ten years and is making an appearance in this Control extension.

Also included in the DLC is a new Service Weapon form called the Surge, which is much like a sticky grenade launcher, and a new type of enemy known as the Hiss Airborne Rangers. In addition, players can get a whole new time trial and Horde Modes.

There are 11 achievements worth a total of 195 Gamerscore, of which five are secrets (to unlock these details of the secret achievements, please use this link).
