Colorado in-and-out employees have tested 143 positive for COOID-19 since December

Two new in-and-out locations in Colorado have erupted Covid-19 among employees, as the number of positive tests continues to rise this week.

About 145 employees at Colorado Springs and Ora Rora in-and-out locations tested positive for COVID-19 after an early outbreak last December, the Denver Post reported Wednesday, according to a report released Wednesday by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

CO 83 Covid-1 cases have been counted in place of the Colorado Springs, as the first phase began on December; There have been 62 positive tests in Aurora since the outbreak on December 17.

According to the Gazette, the outbreak at two in-and-out locations in state restaurants is believed to be the largest among state restaurants since the epidemic began. However, both restaurants remain open, as there is no need to close due to the outbreak – however, local health departments may force a shutdown if needed. (It should be noted that in-n-out can be closed voluntarily.)

The health departments questioned by the Gazette did not monitor those two locations. A county spokesman told the paper that it currently has no recommendations to close its local N-N-out, and the N-out-leadership is in “regular communication” with the health department.

“Based on public health follow-up and investigation, in-and-out frequent adherence to cleaning and disinfection protocols, in addition to employee screening, excluding sick employees, and cooperating with employees,” El Paso County spokeswoman Natalie Sosa told the Gazette. “Temporary shutdown is recommended when the transmission is identified in the facility and allowed for proper cleaning and disinfection.”

El Paso County said in a statement to the Colorado Springs Business Journal that no customers at the Colorado Springs location were involved in the outbreak. It is unclear whether the same is true for the Ora Rora outpost.

Danny Warnick, vice president of in-and-out operations, said there are currently “less than five active confirmed cases” at two in-and-out locations in Colorado and they are seeing a “significant improvement” in the number of cases that occur. Restaurant Trade Release, Nation’s Restaurant News. Employees who tested positive have recovered, and they are “currently healthy and well,” he said.

“We are working closely with our public health agencies to review and confirm that the proactive steps we are taking are appropriate and effective for the protection of our communities,” Warnick said in part. “This includes limiting the number of associates and clients indoors, using staff cohorts and responding quickly to identify and exclude anyone in close contact with the person testing positive.

“We are committed to doing our part to stop the spread of Covid-19,” he said. “The actions we will continue to take at our Colorado restaurant are guided by our commitment to protecting the health and safety of our customers and associates.”

COVID-19 has also erupted among its employees at two N-out locations in Southern California. Palmdale and Sherman have seven and eight employees at the Oaks locations, testing positive for COVID-19, the Nation’s Restaurant News reported.

Colorado is excited for the arrival of the in-and-out since the announcement was first made in 2017; When Colorado Springs and Ora Rora locations opened on November 20 last year, customers waited up to 12 hours to get their hands on a double-double.
