Miguel Angel Borja announced this Thursday that will not continue with Junior de Barranquilla for the next season. The player thanked the team’s fans on his social networks.
“A few hours ago my representative told me that Junior is not in a position to buy my rights as a player,” said the player as the main argument for his departure from the team.
“Therefore I want to express my gratitude to all the Juniorista fans, my teammates, journalism and all the people who have supported me and demonstrated their love during this beautiful time for the team of which I am a heart fan,” added Borja in its publication.
The player who scored 19 goals this season with Junior made no secret of his desire to return to ‘Jaws’ at some point in his career. “I would have loved to continue to represent the colors of my beloved team, but unfortunately it will not. I hope this is not a goodbye but a see you soon ”.
The club has not yet officially announced the player’s departure. The news comes after Junior’s elimination from Conmebol Sudamericana and Liga Colombiana.
