Due to the motion of censure of the District Council against the Secretary of Planning of the District, Guillermo Ávila Barragán, Mayor William Dau had no choice but to remove this official from his position.
That notification of the motion was received on Friday of last week and today, Monday, he decided who will be in that agency by order.
Although the president was expected to announce it this afternoon, he confirmed that it was postponed and that he is working on the decree so that the decision is formal.
However, he announced that in Planning he will entrust Ausberto Coneo, who is the manager of Public Space.
This will be another move among the members of his own cabinet, since it must be remembered that before the suspension of Diana Martínez Berrocal as Secretary General of the District, due to an order from the Comptroller’s Office for the process against former first lady Cynthia Pérez Amador, The mayor appointed Myrna Martínez, who in turn is the head of the District Legal Office.

Likewise, the mayor confirmed that on Friday of last week he accepted the resignation of the Secretary of the Treasury, Dewin Pérez, and that Sonia Osorio Vesga, who works in that same secretariat, will be in charge of that department, being the director of District Taxes.
Osorio entered the District in the administration of William Dau and comes from working at Dian, in Bogotá.
