The local authorities of Calima El Darién have expressed their concern about the massive arrival of tourists to the municipality since last Holy Monday.
They call on the public to extreme sanitary measures such as the use of masks, constant hand disinfection and physical distancing, in order to prevent more infections of covid-19 during Easter.
In the country, the alert remains due to the increase in the occupancy of ICU beds and a possible third peak of infections.
