Last Wednesday, the Police of the town of Hinckley, in the state of Ohio, in the United States, received a call reporting that a boy of about three years had been seen alone in the vicinity of the Hope Memorial Gardens cemetery.
A witness assured the police that he saw a car driving at full speed and the child and the dog running behind it.
Upon arriving at the scene, police officers found the boy, who could only tell them that his name was Tony. He also identified his mom as Katy and his dad as David. However, he did not know his last name or was able to provide more details.
The child was placed in the hands of the Medina County social services, which placed him with a family temporarily.
After the publication of Tony’s image on social networks, a relative identified him and contacted his father, who pointed out that the child was in the care of the mother at the time of the events.
The father has reported to the police station and meanwhile the investigations are continuing.
Upon hearing the shocking news, the Hinckley community showered Tony and his pet with gifts. There were also many calls offering to adopt the little one.
The Hinckley Police have assured that they have already identified the mother of the child and that they will soon give a report on what happened.
