The discovery of the corpse occurred in the morning and the first versions of the workers, according to RCN News, suggest that it was hidden under the dry branches of the trees that adorn this emblematic site in the southwest of Bogotá, in the town of Kennedy.

The outlet reported that the remains apparently they belong to an Afro-descendant man who was allegedly killed with a firearm.

This person, “allegedly received two bullet wounds in the face and was already in a state of decomposition”, said the news, and raised the hypothesis that the body lasted several days there without being seen because it was hidden in the litter.

It is also said that in that area there is a security camera that may have captured the moment when the body was left, and the authorities are investigating whether this person died there or was transferred from another place.

To the doubt about how this person died, Bogotá Alert adds another “unofficial” version according to which the man “presents several stab wounds on his body”.

Body found in Bogotá had no signs of violence

El Tiempo, for its part, leaves these versions unsupported by citing the statement of the Secretary of Security, Hugo Acero, who said that the body had been there for several days and it was found that “it showed no signs of violence.”

And one more piece of information. The newspaper assures that the victim would be about 44 years old and that “it would be a citizen living on the streets.”

This video shows the moment when police cordon off the area to proceed with the inspection.
