But his persistence, character and discipline led him to be one of the most active in judicial journalism.

One of his friends, Wilson Morales, a journalist for the Caleño radio news program, Radio Reloj 1110 AM and Telepacífico Noticias he remembers him as a colleague with great insight into his journalistic craft.

As a person, he stands out for his “humble, helpful and focused” character. “He knew about the difficulties he grew up in, as well as his surroundings and he knew he had to get ahead,” adds Morales.

Without a doubt, his grandparents were the adoration and veneration of Andrés Felipe Guevara, a passionate supporter of Deportivo Cali.

Some of his friends say that from the moment he got up he thought about them so much that before work he would make them lunch and after noon, he would grab his motorcycle and go at full speed to reach lunch with his grandparents.

“His love was undeniable and sometimes excessive, he even had tattooed on his chest, if I remember correctly, the faces of his grandparents. Although he lived with them for a long time, he never stopped contacting them and being aware of their needs, Before his death, he was even advancing the remodeling of the second floor of their house”Recalls one of his former colleagues.
