The neighborhood of Villas de San Pablo in Barranquilla witnessed the attack with a knife suffered by a policeman when he was chasing.
According to the authorities, the police were looking for a man who was carrying a firearm.
In the middle of the chase the suspect entered a house, the officers got there and – in a struggle – stabbed one of them in the back. A neighbor recorded everything on video.
Inhabitants of this residential complex located in the Villa San Pablo sector, in Juan Mina, recorded the moment in which Police patrols try to capture two subjects who confront them with bladed weapons.

Although the policeman wore a bulletproof vest that prevented a serious injury, he received 10 days of disability.
Colonel Oleskyenio Flórez, deputy commander of the Barranquilla Metropolitan Police, reported that a 20-year-old boy identified as Álvaro Luis Cantillo Gómez was captured.
Neighbors from this area of La Arenosa noticed that the officers used their firearms.
