Kilometer 41 will be the new economic development pole of Caldas

This Monday the Economic Organization Plan of Kilometer 41 was announced, which will serve as a planning instrument and shows the benefits and opportunities of this territory, which has an approximate area of ​​97.7 square kilometers. This area includes the municipalities of Anserma, Filadelfia, Neira, Palestina and Manizales.

This area and the agroindustrial development there will be strategically located west of Caldas, located 29 kilometers from the Café Airport, 147 from Medellín, 388 from Cali, 302 from Buenaventura and 509 from the Gulf of Urabá.

The creation of 302 thousand jobs is projected in 12 years.

From the result of this study, five reference areas are evidenced to potentiate their use and economic activity as follows:

1. North Zone, located in the Juntas and Cuba sidewalks of the Neira municipality, with an opportunity for development in possible industrial or logistical use of medium and high impact.

2. Residential Center Zone located in La Botija, in the municipality of Neira, where there are lands with the opportunity to consolidate as a suburban node for residential development and complementary activities for this use

3. Mixed Economic Center Zone is located within the town of Agrovilla, KM41 vereda Colombia, in the municipality of Manizales, where an Agroindustrial or Industrial Urban Centrality can be developed with Specialized Services for training and tourist support

4. La Bastilla area, located in the municipality of Anserma, with possible potential for locating a storage center and tourism support services.

5.South Eastern Suburban Corridor, area that borders the road corridor of the Pacífico 3 concession with suburban use
