Tonight will begin night curfew in Antioquia

Together, the Governor of Antioquia and the mayors of the 125 municipalities of the department took restrictive measures for the december holidays.

The first measure is for the entire department, and contemplates a night curfew from midnight today, that is, from December 22 to January 3, between the ranges of zero hours until 6 in the morning .

The second phase, which is additional, will apply only to 4 subregions: the Aburrá Valley, the East, the West and the Southwest of Antioquia. This measure will be a curfew extended for special dates. Residents will not be able to leave their home between 8:00 pm on December 24 and 6:00 am on December 26, that is, 34 hours of continuous curfew.

The same will happen for the end of the year celebration, where the inhabitants of the 75 municipalities of those subregions will also not be able to go out on the street from December 31 at 8:00 pm until January 2 at 6:00 am , also 34 continuous hours of restriction.

Another additional measure, and that will also apply in all municipalities of Antioquia, will be the implementation of the peak and certificate from Wednesday, however, some municipalities may start it from Tuesday, according to each mayor, as will happen in Medellín.

These measures will be detailed in a departmental decree and after January 4 it will be evaluated, if it is necessary to extend it for additional days.
