The Office of the Attorney General of the Nation has just reported that the man who would have murdered citizen Wilfredo Murcia Naranjo was captured, a native of Chiquinquirá (Boyacá), on Tuesday, December 15 at 5:15 in the morning.

The alleged killer was identified as Jackson Castelblanco. “We are going to impute the crime of aggravated homicide to him in the next few hours. We will request an intramural security measure”said the nation’s attorney general, Francisco Barbosa.

This is the man who decided to take the life of this security guard who had worked for two years in the Torres de San Cristóbal complex on July 20.

According to the Emergency Regulatory Center (Crue), Murcia was the victim of gunshot wounds right at a bus stop on Carrera 24 No. 39 Sur, in the town of Rafael Uribe Uribe, in the Quiroga neighborhood.

When paramedics arrived, they found a 54-year-old man with two wounds, one in the precordial region and one in the abdominal region. They were lethal, his life ended in seconds on the floor of a bus of the Integrated Public Transport System (SITP).

Wilfredo lived with his partner in the Lucero neighborhood of the town of Ciudad Bolívar and he very much enjoyed spending time with his family in the free time that he was allowed at work. Before – his friend Ernesto Pinto Vargas said – he had been a construction builder.

“It is mean that they killed him like this. The SITP has become the walk of death. He was a good friend, he was unconditional ”.

He left four children, ages 17, 20, 27 and 29, mired in sadness and helplessness. For now, they only hope that the authorities act quickly to catch the murderer and then that justice does its part.

Even the mayor of Bogotá, Claudia López, spoke about this unfortunate event. “To the family and friends of the citizen our deepest condolences,” he said.
