In Antioquia there is commotion after the discovery of the body of little Sofía Cadavid, 18 months, in the municipality of Rionegro (Oriente).

About 2:24 am this Friday the body was found, with apparent signs of violence according to preliminary information.
The minor disappeared after she went out with her father. This man would have appeared around 9 at night, for which he was taken to a medical center.

Although at first, the man had denied the fact, hours later he He would have indicated to the authorities where little Sofia was.

And it is that since the afternoon hours of this Thursday, when the girl was reported as missing, the authorities carried out an intense search in the El Porvenir neighborhood of Rionegro for the girl and the father.
This was confirmed by the Municipal Administration, which reported at the time the search protocols were activated.
After the discovery, the Mayor’s Office released the news on its social networks.
“Unfortunately our authorities have just found the body of little Sofia, we deeply regret the outcome of this case that mourns the rionegreros”, can be read in a tweet from the early hours of this Friday.

In the next few hours, the Antioquia Police Department will give precise information about the case. At the moment, the father of the minor is at the disposal of the Prosecutor’s Office.
