Call of Duty: Warzone has tons of different firearms for players to use. But sometimes you may want to use something a little more discreet for hand-to-hand combat. That’s where having a melee weapon like a knife can be incredibly useful. Here it is How to use the knife in Warzone.

Knives in Warzone

First off, it’s worth noting that your usual melee attack in Warzone will only use the butt of your weapon to hit your target. This can be done by pressing the right analog stick (or by pressing R3).

However, if you want to specifically use a knife for your stealth attack, you’ll need to unlock one first.

How to unlock a knife in Warzone

You will unlock the Combat Knife once you reach level 22. You may be able to purchase and unlock more melee weapons and knives in the future, but for now, this and the Riot Shield (unlocked at the same level) are the only ones . for now.

Once you have unlocked the knife, you will need to equip it to your load. To do this, select one of your custom Charge slots and select the Secondary Weapon option.

Go to “Melee” and you will find the combat knife underneath. Press A to confirm this as your secondary weapon. You are now ready to start with Warzone.

Using a knife in Warzone

To use a knife in Warzone, you will now need to call your Charging Dropout. This can be done by purchasing a drop from a buying station for $ 10,000, or visiting one of the random options that falls free during the game.

Select the charge that has the combat knife as a secondary weapon. Now switch to your secondary weapon (And on Xbox, Triangle on PS4) and you will equip it. Press RT on Xbox or R2 on PS4 to use your knife in Warzone, just like you would any other weapon.
