The Clash of Clans Summer 2020 update has arrived. This is the new.
We didn’t have to wait long for him Clash of Clans Summer 2020 update. After a few days in advance, the latest update is now available.
The update introduces new upgrade levels for defenses, buildings, troops, and heroes; remakes the lightning spell; it brings numerous changes in the game and improvements in the quality of life; and add two new Super Troops and a new dark Elixir Troop. While the full patch notes can be found on the Clash of Clans Forums, below are some of the highlights.
A new Dark Elixir troop available in City Hall 12, the Headhunter is a killing troop targeting heroes. The Headhunter deals four times damage against heroes and adds a poisonous spell effect that reduces movement speed and attack speed.
Find out more about the Headhunter here.
The two new Super Troops are Inferno Dragon and Super Witch. The Inferno Dragon is the Super version of a Tier 6 Baby Dragon, firing a continuous beam that increases damage over time.
The Super Witch is a Supered variant of a Level 5 Witch. Instead of summoning skeletons or bats, the Super Witch summons Big Boy, a giant skeleton with almost as many life points as the Super Giant.

New update levels
Cannon, Wizard Tower and Dark Barracks have achieved a new level. An additional 50 Wall segments can now also be upgraded to Level 14.
For Heroes, Barbarian King and Archer Queen have achieved five new levels up to level 75 now. Perhaps more excitingly, the regeneration time has been reduced to a maximum cooldown of 40 minutes at level 75.

Game changes and quality of life improvements
There are a lot of changes in the game with the Summer 2020 update. Too many to list here. I recommend reading the strong patch notes for details, but some highlights include:
- An improved city hall upgrade experience that activates limited-time boost arena benefits when you update your city hall.
- A slight review of how the loot cart accumulates loot over time for up to 90 days and a slight increase in its ability to generate resources from inactivity.
- Personalization of the village with a new stage that can be accessed by touching the Town Hall and selecting the “Change scene” button
- Builder Base – Crusher reduced spatter radius (from 3.5 tokens to 2.8)
As I mentioned, there are tons of balance adjustments for both Base Village and Base Builder. the Clash of Clans The Summer 2020 update didn’t introduce a ton of new gameplay features or elements, but all the troop additions and game changes have been greeted with warm reception from players. It’s not the biggest update the game has seen, but it’s certainly a good one.
