Last week, we learned the name of Google’s next smart speaker, when the official render also came out. Despite going seven days until the official announcement, the Nest Audio Dio has been spotted on store shelves, while we also see packaging for Chromecast with a Google TV leak.
A Twitter user Shared a picture of Charcoal Nest Audio Dio on Walmart this evening. Retail packaging is fairly straightforward and matches Made by Google’s latest smart home products.
Above the smart speaker is a large Google logo and “nest est dio”. In the bottom-right corner is the “Hey Google” branding that is increasingly being used instead of “Assistant”. Like previous devices, Google publishes available commands and third-party integration from Spotify to Philips Hue, while also noting calendars and maps.
Most retailers prevent shoppers from buying unleashed products, while it is unknown whether the Google Home Companion app has been updated to support the pair.

Meanwhile, the same packaging for Chromecast with Google TV – unveiling a new logo – has also emerged in a leak on Reddit (via Android Police). According to the bottom label, this product is simply called “Google Chromecast”, while “Google Chromecast and Voice is Remote” seems to be powered by AAA batteries. . Rumors of a cost of 49.99, confirmed other specs including 4K and HDR.
