The singer-songwriter, who was hospitalized for pregnancy complications in recent weeks, shared the news via Instagram on Tuesday, November 24th.
“We lost our baby last night,” Christina wrote in a photo caption holding her daughter’s hand. “Silence was born after she fought so hard to create our world. She is now at peace and will live forever in our hearts.”
On November 11, Christina asked fans “Please send a little love to the little heart beating in me from your heart that we all do it through this” then her baby began to experience bowel troubles. Then three days later, the 34-year-old confirms that her newborn will have to have surgery after her birth.
“He is scheduled to have a baby when he arrives,” he explained at the time. “We will spend some time in the hospital. We are preparing for it [the NICU], But anything can happen. “
