Christina Aguilera sees new ‘Mulan’ for the first time with her children: ‘It’s a wonderful thing to share’


Christina Aguilera spends quality time with her family amid the release of a Disney live-action remake Mulan.

The year-old pop star stayed with her two children – Max, 12 and Summer, 6 – on Friday (Sept.) to see the new premiere. Mulan + At Disney. The singer shared her experience with her fans by live-tweeting to see it.

“My kids know about #Mulan, but they haven’t seen the live action version yet,” Aguilera wrote. “They’ve listened to music, they’ve seen me recording in that studio – so it’s a wonderful thing to share with my kids now.”

The original animated version of was released in 1998 Mulan Aguilera’s breakout hit “Reflection”, in which the then-teen singer was shot to give stardom to the taka of his powerful pipes.

More than 20 years later, Aguilera re-recorded the inspirational ballad for the Disney (non-music) 2020 iteration. Mulan. The long-awaited film’s soundtrack also includes its original song “Faithful Brave True”.

In a live-tweet on Friday, Ile Guilera responded to a fan asking which version of “Reflection” was better.

“I’m part of a new version of Reflection for sure,” the singer wrote. “Still, I look back and smile at the version I did as a teenager … I can hear the youth of a girl who doesn’t fully know herself or the power of her tool. I’ve got to know myself better. The last 20 Years … “

Mulan Hit Disney + on Friday after repeatedly postponing premieres in theaters due to the coronavirus epidemic on Friday.
