This Tuesday, December 29 Javiera Suarez would have turned 38 years old, which is why her husband, Cristián Arriagada, dedicated a message to her through his social networks.
On his Instagram account, the plastic surgeon shared a video in which he appears with their son, Pedro Milagros, releasing balloons to the sky.
“Happy birthday to Heaven my Javiera !!! A handful of greetings and intentions on this, your happiest day of the year… ”, wrote the doctor.
“We keep celebrating it every year until we meet again …”Arriagada added in the publication, which already has more than 35,000 “likes”.
The journalist and television communicator died on June 12, 2019 after a long battle against a grade IV melanoma skin cancer with metastasis that was diagnosed in March 2016.
This disease spread to her liver, bones, lung, and right breast while she was seven weeks pregnant. Because of this, he underwent an experimental therapy called immunotherapy. Pedrito was born at 30 weeks of gestation, in October 2016.
It should be noted that in May 2018, and in the middle of his treatment, Javiera published his book Liveat: Recipes and tips to fuel your life. Last August a second edition was launched, this time pocket-sized and more accessible to the public.
“We are happy to be able to bring Liveat closer to more people and infect them with the positive and optimistic view of life that Javiera always transmitted,” Arriagada explained to BioBioChile at that time.
“For us as a family it is a special moment, a little more than a year has passed since her death and we feel that it is a great way to keep her present. In addition, we have worked on the blog and Instagram to open a close and collaborative space with many people who are experiencing similar situations ”, he added.
According to the doctor, this edition, which has the same content but arranged in a different way, “seemed to us to be a way to tune in to the moment the country and the world are experiencing.”
