A 20 year old young man old died in the sector of Puente El Vado, in Coyhaique, after rescuing his girlfriend of 18, who was drowning in the place.
The events occurred during Sunday afternoon in the vicinity of the Cold Lake, where about 20 people enjoyed the hot day recorded in the regional capital of Aysén.
According to the information collected by the Carabineros, neither of the two young protagonists of the tragedy could swim.
