Through their social networks and their website, WWE has confirmed that superstar Apollo Crews will miss the pay-per-view Money in the Bank 2020 due to a knee injury.
Vince McMahon’s company has released a statement through its web portals stating that the fighter Apollo Crews has not been released to compete after causing a knee injury during the last episode of RAW. For the same reason, his name has been removed from the Money in the Bank card, the company’s next pay-per-view. Apollo was scheduled to be part of the men’s Corporate Ladder Match alongside Daniel Bryan, Aleister Black, Rey Mysterio, King Corbin, and a SmackDown competitor to be announced. For the moment, who will replace the fighter in this contest is unknown.
During the RAW broadcasts held a few hours ago, Apollo Crews faced Andrade for the WWE United States Championship. In the last moments of this confrontation, Apollo jumped badly from the third rope, causing the referee to stop the fight. and by winner Andrade via disqualification. Moments later, we saw Crews come out of the arena on crutches with his damaged knee. It should be noted that the veracity of this injury has not yet been confirmed, or if this is just a resource for a storyline.
