This Wednesday afternoon, dock workers clashed with Carabineros Special Forces and Navy riot personnel in the port of Iquique.
Around noon, differences between officials led to incidents between them, so that soldiers from the Navy intervened.
These events escalated and ended with protesters hiding inside the Federation of Port Workers of Iquique (Fetrapi), throwing stones and other blunt objects.
For its part, Carabineros repelled these incidents with tear gas canisters. Until the close of this edition, no detainees were reported.
