The female University of Chile is equalizing without goals with Peñarol, in the debut of group D of the women’s Copa Libertadores.

The U comes to this Cup after beating Colo Colo in a defining match and thus accompanying Santiago Morning as national representatives in the tournament that takes place in Argentina.

The U shares group D with Peñarol, Ferroviaria (Brazil) and Club Sportivo Limpeño from Paraguay, who will meet this Saturday from 5:00 p.m.

This Friday the women’s Copa Libertadores kicked off with goals from the Brazilian teams. Corinthians beat El Nacional from Ecuador 16-0, while Kindermann from Brazil beat Deportivo Trópico from Bolivia 8-0.

In the second round, Santiago Morning tied with Boca Juniors on a goal, while the Colombian América de Cali beat Universitario de Deportes de Peru by a score of 5-0.

After this game, the University of Chile will have to face Club Libertad Limpeño this Tuesday from 7:30 p.m.
