Carabineros arrested a man accused of attack your ex-partner with a knife in Santiago. After the complaint, the aggressor escaped causing a police chase through different streets in the center of the capital.
The situation occurred during Monday night in an apartment located on Santa Rosa Street, where after the attack the man left the building with a cloth in one hand apparently injured, the janitor said.
The 35-year-old woman, meanwhile, requested help from emergency personnel, for which she was finally transferred to the former Central Post where she is hospitalized.
Carabineros staff interviewed the woman and, thanks to the data provided, they managed to find the whereabouts of the individual, who fled when he was surrounded by the police.
This led to a persecution through different streets of the capital, according to the Carabineros captain, Vladimir Úbeda.
Finally, they found him in San Diego on Matta Avenue, where he was detained and transferred to a police unit to later be brought to justice.
