Police personnel investigate the discovery of a woman tied up in an irrigation canal in the El Noviciado sector of the Pudahuel commune.
The young woman, 23, was unconscious when discovered by passersby, which is why she was transferred to a nearby healthcare facility.
Lieutenant Patricio Castillo commented that “on one side of an irrigation canal there was a 23-year-old woman, half-naked, with her ankles and knees tied with duct tape.”
“Faced with such a situation, personnel requested the assistance of SAMU, who transferred the victim to a closer care center and once the identity was known, it was found that he maintained an alleged misfortune for the crime of kidnapping, a complaint made on October 12 of this year“, he specified.
The young woman is stable, while the Legal Medical Service (SML) will carry out tests to clarify a possible sexual attack.
This situation has caused concern among the residents of the sector, since the day before a body was found in the vicinity.
