An unusual case is lived in a house on the outskirts of Puerto Montt, where a woman, her mother and her daughter, have not been able to leave their house in 3 days because a large dog would have “taken” the land .
As Marcia told Radio Bío Bío, the situation began when, due to the launch of fireworks in the area, a yellow dog came to her house, located in Passage Bohle 2029, in the Cayenel population, probably frightened by the noise.
However, the dog turned out to be aggressive, growling at the three women who live in the house, to the point of having rammed and knocked Marcia’s mother to the ground, and having bitten her 13-year-old daughter on the arm, an injury that did not has been able to be treated.
“The dog is out of the kitchen and he won’t let us out. He is very aggressive and has a green collar that says ‘Dog Police’. We even have two other small dogs that are locked up and we haven’t been able to take them to the vet ”, he explained.
Marcia said that at one point her husband came to help them, who managed to drive away the dog, however he returned since the fence of his property is too low and easy to jump.
That is where the real drama began because no institution has taken responsibility for helping her. “Carabineros says that it is the responsibility of the Municipality. The Municipality tells me to call the Carabineros. They told me to call the PDI. At the PDI they did not answer me and when they did, they told me that they were overwhelmed, ”he said.
The most unusual thing, however, is the answer that one of the uniformed men would have given him:
“(The policeman) told me that I had to go to the courts to report the dog. Imagine the stupidity. They told me that the police had nothing to do with it and after that they came and cut me (the phone) “, he indicated.
Marcia indicated that in her desperation, she called the local animal organization “Sheltering a friend”, where they suggested “give him food like a pig at a party” so that the dog would be happy, however this was counterproductive because the dog decided to stay ” permanent ”in place.
“At 6 pm (this Friday) I have to go to work and I don’t know how I’m going to do it”, said the woman, desperate.
Listen here to the complete conversation between Marcia and the journalist Rafael Venegas:
Update: according to Marcia, after calling Radio Bío Bío Carabineros, he went to his home, however the uniformed men were also attacked by the cannon. For this reason they called an animal protection society to manage their withdrawal, which had not materialized until the closing of this news.
