A woman died this Monday during a plastic surgery carried out inside the Edelweiss Clinic, located in the commune of Providence.
According to the first information provided by the victim’s relatives, the 39-year-old woman arrived at the compound to undergo tummy tuck and breast implant surgery.
However, during the surgical intervention, the patient suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest, eventually losing her life.
Relatives of the woman arrived at the place to demand answers from the clinic, pointing out that after what happened they have not been able to contact the doctor in charge of the surgery, who also would have closed their social networks.
Alerted of what happened, Carabineros personnel arrived at the site of the event to adopt the rigorous procedure.
At the same time, members of the PDI Homicide Brigade will carry out the expert reports to determine what happened.
