The Government released this Thursday details of the plan for the end of the year holidays in the context of the coronavirus pandemic facing our country, in order to prevent the spread of the virus.

As indicated, the families of communes in Step 1 (quarantine) will not be able to receive outsiders at their home.

The families of communes in Step 2 (transition) can host up to 15 people in total, including residents.

At Step 3 case (preparation), up to 20 people in total can be received, including those who live in the house.

For the communes in Step 4 (initial opening), it will be allowed to receive up to 30 people in the houses including residents.

From the Ministry of Health (Minsal) detailed that the gauges are applied in open and closed places, unlike what happened in National Holidays.

Curfew

The Undersecretary of Public Health, Paula Daza, indicated that they resolved to delay the start of the curfew on Christmas Eve, fixing it from 02:00 a.m. on December 25 to 05:00 a.m. of that same day.

In the case of New Year, the curfew is delayed at 02:00 hours on January 1, 2021 and runs until 07:00 hours of the same day.

In parallel, it was indicated that massive eventsRegardless of the step in which the commune is, they are absolutely prohibited from 8:00 p.m. on the 24th to 8:00 p.m. on the 25th of the current month.

Likewise, as has happened in previous festivals, sanitary cords will be installed around the main cities of the country, from 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30 to 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 2.

Vacation Plan

The transfer limit is maintained. Only travel between communes from Step 3 onwards. Communes in Step 1 and 2 cannot visit other communes or receive visitors.

In addition, the inspection and control of capacity in tourist places will be reinforced.
