Yesterday afternoon, Friday, a new day of demonstrations was registered in the center of Santiago.

An important group of people gathered, like several Fridays ago, in the vicinity of the La Moneda Palace to demand the release of the prisoners from the social outbreak.

The demonstrations led to disorders and the installation of barricades in some central corners of Santiago.

In the middle of the operation, a policeman was hit with a blunt object in the neck, having to be referred to a health facility.

Likewise, it was reported that three people suffered injuries in the same context and were transferred to a health center.

In all, 38 people were arrested.

Finally, at the national level, the Carabineros reported that 1,079 people were deprived of liberty, 465 of them for not respecting the curfew.
