Let us remember that this Sunday the Undersecretary of Public Health, Paula Daza, already warned that a drop in examinations and new cases could be evidenced as a result of national holidays. As for the positivity – which during the week ranged between 5% and 5.8% – it suddenly rose to 7.1%.

Meanwhile, 915 people were hospitalized, 984 with mechanical ventilation, of them 123 are in critical condition and 477 ventilators are available.
About health residences, There are 10,516 places available for those infected who require these spaces in 156 residences that have been made available.
A worrying fact is that in the Magallanes region the positivity reaches 27%, which means that one out of every four people who took the PCR test turned out to be positive.
