As happened in the last Telethon in April and considering the social context of the country, it was reported from the beginning of the Vamos Chilenos television campaign that the event would not have a goal of money to be raised.
However, Cecilia Bolocco’s words during the broadcast hinted that there were expectations regarding donations.
“I would like to make a call to all businessmen, I know that up to now we have received various contributions from the different sponsors of the program but I have also seen that the figures … have been important I do not want to underestimate them for any reason … but not as high as we are used to when we do the Telethon ”, the former Miss Universe began saying in the middle of a contact.
“I would like to make that call if possible reconsider and make a new donation,” he added.
Then, he pointed out that they were far from the “goal”, revealing the unofficial figure that was expected to be raised in this campaign.
“We are so far from the goal. I’m really sorry because we expected to get 30 billion pesos, we thought ‘well, if it’s not 30 thousand, okay, 20 thousand’ and we are not even in half of that figure and there are less than 2 hours of program left “stated the cheerleader.
