This Sunday the Universidad Católica and Universidad de Chile will face each other at 2:00 p.m. in San Carlos de Apoquindo in a new university classic.
The Blues regret a very important loss: Pablo Aránguiz, who broke one of the toes of his left leg in the duel against Unión Española and will be out of the field for at least three months.
In the previous duel against the crusaders, Walter Montillo regrets the absence of 22 of the blues. “Personally I am very sorry for Pablo Aránguiz’s injury because one learns to love him, because he has humility and because he plays ball very well. He always has a smile and shoots forward”, said the Argentine in conversation with La Tercera.
The Squirrel confesses that he spoke with his partner and gave him some important messages for his recovery.
“I talked to him, I told him my story that at 35 I broke my knee and that nothing happened, that life goes on and you don’t forget to play ball. He is 22 years old and you have to be very over”, he assured.
For Montillo “Pablo was one of the best in the tournament, but they are things that happen. We are not robots, it can happen, you never want to get injured. It was his turn. We will be there to support him. And the boy who enters and has to play know that you have our unconditional support.
Along the same lines, the midfielder accepts that there is no natural replacement for Pablo Aránguiz.
“Maybe we don’t have a player with the characteristics of Pablo, and if we ask him to do the same we are all wrong. We will adapt that function that he does so that another boy can do it in the best way,” he closed.
