For now it is unknown who carried out the leak, but the links to some files were published in the 4chan forum.

According to reports, since May 1, information related to some of the oldest consoles of the Japanese company Nintendo has been leaked online, reports Kotaku.

Many of the files refer to the Wii console, year 2006, including design documents and even, supposedly, its source code original and detailed diagrams of its ‘hardware’. In addition, evidence of ‘hardware’ for the 1996 Nintendo 64 console and information on the operation of the GameCube platform.

“The biggest and craziest thing about this leak is the data sheets, the block diagram, and the Verilog files for each component,” wrote user Atheerios of the ResetEra forum, who drew attention to the leak, explaining, “Verilog is a hardware description language; it is used to describe the circuits through the code, so with this we can learn how each piece of the Wii was made

After the leaks appeared, several videos emerged on YouTube where you can see the ‘demos’ of the Nintendo 64, created to show the capabilities of the console.

One video shows a character navigating a maze, while the other video shows how the hardware handles the surfaces of a 3D object as its size and shape change.

For now it is unknown who carried out the leak, but the links to some files were published in the 4chan forum.

The company has yet to comment on the leak.
