In the morning hours of this Sunday, a doctor, a driver and a service assistant from SAPU Las Compañías were attacked by a subject.
The information was confirmed by the Gabriel González Videla corporation, who tomorrow will file a complaint for the act of violence, also indicated that they received medical attention at the SAR and the Director of the Health Department contacted each of them.
The Regional Medical College issued a statement, stating that “facts of this nature are not new for this region and country: They are part of a situation that must be addressed in depth, and despite the fact that as a Medical College we are part of a Working Group Against Aggressions, we expect greater advances in the protection of health teams ”.
They add that “in the pandemic situation we find ourselves in, we need the support of the community, and these events only bring us sadness and disappointment.”
