Vidal congratulates the Catholic youth patrol

After four consecutive draws, Universidad Católica returned to victory in the National Tournament, after beating Huachipato 3-0, in San Carlos de Apoquindo. He did it using seven under 21s: Carlos Salomón (20 years old), Marcelino Núñez (20), Alexander Aravena (18), Gonzalo Tapia (18), Clemente Montes (19) and the already “experienced” Diego Valencia (20) and Ignacio Saavedra (21).

What’s more, the three goals were the work of home-trained players (Valencia, Montes and Núñez), all in the second half, which gave Ariel Holan’s team a break, which suffered two injuries in the first half, after the physical problems of Gastón Lezcano and Juan Fuentes.
