The Valparaíso Health Department is conducting an investigation to find the close contacts of a Covid positive woman who, in Sunday’s Plebiscite, served as a table member in the Umbral College of Curauma, in the Placilla sector.
As reported by seremi of Health, Francisco Álvarez, this person consulted a health center with mild symptoms on Monday and a PCR was taken, being isolated and giving a later result of positive for coronavirus.
Research is now underway in order to determine the place of infection and isolate all tight contacts of this woman who, for the most part, are already isolated, according to the health authority.
Furthermore, it was stated that the people who went to vote at the table where this woman worked do not comply with the characteristic of close contact, as the table members and other people who participated in the day of the elections in this school.
