A new vacation permit will be enabled from Wednesday, January 6, at 05:00 in the Virtual Police Station, which will allow the interregional transfer to inhabitants of communes that are in Phase 2 forward, always within the framework of the Step by Step Plan.

People may request this document, only once, between January 4, 2021 and March 31, 2021, from sectors or towns that are in Paso Transición (Step 2), to sectors or towns that are in Steps Transition, Preparation, Initial Opening Step or Advanced Opening Step (Steps 2, 3, 4 and 5) or vice versa. This permit will not be granted for interregional transfer from or to sectors or towns that are in the Quarantine Pass (Step 1).

The permit authorizes, exclusively, to move to the destination indicated by the applicant, on the indicated date. The movement from the place of origin to the destination must be made within a maximum of 48 hours from the departure time established in the permit issued and may be requested by a person who will act as the holder thereof, You must include your personal data and those of all your companions under 18 years of age. Those over 18 must always get permission as holders.

This allows minors under 18 years of age to go on vacation, authorized by whoever takes care of them, during the aforementioned summer period. In this way, minors under 18 years of separated parents may go on vacation indistinctly with each of them or travel to spend vacations, as companions of an adult holder, authorized by the person who has the personal care of the minor.

Although the vacation permit will be available in the Virtual Police Station from Monday, January 4, the functionality to incorporate minors under 18 as companions in the Vacation Transfer Permit will be enabled in the Virtual Police Station from Wednesday, January 6, 2021 . Until that date, minors between 14 and 18 years old may continue to obtain their permits as holders and go as companions of the family group, but they will not be blocked in the system to obtain a second permit.

Travel is not authorized during curfew times, although it allows the transfer of sanitary cords.
For the transfer back to the place of origin, after the holidays, the user must log in with their unique password or Virtual Police Station user password and request the issuance of a permit for said movement. The authorization will be granted taking as the place of departure the indicated vacation place and as the destination, the address that the applicant has previously entered.

For said return permit, the established rules that are in force in the Displacement Instructions will apply, which will be available starting today, Thursday, December 31, at www.gob.cl/coronavirus. This permit does not affect the validity or condition the right to request others established in the Virtual Police Station.

According to the authorities, in no case may a person who is in the active COVID-19 registries maintained by the health authority and all those subject to mandatory isolation measures obtain this permit.

During the round trip, people will not be able to get off the means of transport in which the transfer is made until they reach their destination, with the exception of service stations, food outlets or to spend the night.

Along with this permit, you will always need a valid health passport, which must be requested at www.c19.cl. It is mandatory to have both documents.
