They also explain that “the facts denounced by the former teachers of the School of Nursing, Karen Domínguez Cancino and Dominique Fuentes Inostroza, were known by the university, after the filing of the legal actions and after the self-dismissal that both carried out in August and last September, respectively”.
“While the employment relationship was in force, neither of the two professionals made any complaint regarding alleged mistreatment, despite the existence of institutional channels available at the university for these purposes, defined in various internal norms and protocols to safeguard the dignity of the workers. ”, They sentenced.

In this case, a judicial process was started that was closed a few weeks ago, since the parties involved were able to reach an agreement on financial compensation for the damages caused.
On the other hand, Dominique Fuentes, 27, stated the following in his application: “It is worth noting the discrimination and repeated mistreatment received at the University, carried out by some of its directors, just for the fact of being women. Several of his public statements account for the Misogynistic comments that are later translated into a disparagement of the work that he developed at the University. Thus, for example, the expressions made by the dean, Alberto Dougnac, and the vice-dean, Mauricio Soto, who explicitly told several workers, including me, Misogynistic and violent phrases such as ‘nurses are not intelligent nor should they be, it is enough that they are pretty’; ‘you nurses are specialists in everything, but you don’t really know anything’. Denigrating phrases and mistreatment by managers of the University, of which I was a victim on several occasions “.
In Fuentes’ case, the lawsuit for labor protection against his former employer is still in process, since no agreement has been reached regarding the amounts of compensation.
