This Sunday, just over 24 hours before the duel against Cobresal, University of Chile reported a positive case of Covid-19 of an assistant of the coaching staff who commands the Venezuelan Rafael Dudamel.
Through a statement, The U pointed out that the infected person was isolated after feeling some symptoms and then a PCR was performed, as well as the entire squad and coaching staff, in which their status was ratified.
“When the results were known, the positive case of the support staff was confirmed, who did not have close contact with any other member of the team or coaching staff considering their timely notice and the free day of practice on Friday 25 ″, indicated the letter.
Without giving details of the name of the affected person, the club communicated that “For now, he is in good health and we look forward to his speedy recovery so that he can resume his usual functions.“.
Universidad de Chile will play this Monday at 5:00 p.m. as a visit to Cobresal in El Salvador on the 26th date of the 2020 National Championship.
