Universidad Católica formalized a three-year contract with Fernando Zampedri

Catholic University made this Saturday official the purchase of Fernando Zampedri for three more years, acquiring all of its economic rights after agreeing to the transfer with Rosario Central.

The Argentine forward, who arrived in the foothills at the beginning of this year, will keep linked to the club until 2023.

In this regard, the president of UC, Juan Tagle, commented: “We are very happy to have ensured Fernando’s continuity. He has been a great contribution this season, missing just one game and being one of the top scorers of our last decade.”

For his part, Zampedri himself pointed out that: “Both my family and I are very happy to continue being part of the Cruzada family. I wanted to thank the institution, the leaders, for continuing to trust me, and for making the effort to make this possible. ”

During this season, Zampedri has played 32 matches, registering a total of 21 goals between all competitions, being the team’s top scorer in the National Championship and what was the participation in Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana.
