“Briones wants to make money with the salary of public officials and, in fact, if this proposal is approved, if this proposal is imposed, if the unions accept this proposal – which is the worst that could happen – it would be generating a salary reduction for public services personnel ” added.
Likewise, the leader criticized that this situation goes in a totally opposite line with the bonuses received by Carabineros and that, according to our media, 9 thousand more officials than those authorized would have benefited.
“It would be unpresentable on the part of the Government that, on the one hand, the salaries of public services are readjusted downwards, while, Carabineros de Chile were given bonuses that have meant thousands and billions of pesos to the country. It would be clearly an injustice and a discretion on the part of the Government to accept it, ”said Maturana.
