Spanish Union, after being overwhelmed in the first half and having a late reaction, was eliminated in the second phase of the Copa Libertadores 2021, being thrashed this tuesday for 6-2 (6-3 aggregate) by Independiente del Valle in Quito.

The Hispanic team, which won the first leg in Santa Laura 1-0, could not hold the advantage and was overwhelmed by the Ecuadorians, who swept in the first half with four goals.
