The Undersecretary of Health, Paula Daza, affirmed this Wednesday, May 13 at night that “There will be time to do error analysis”, referring to the Government’s strategy during the coronavirus pandemic.
In interview with CHV News/CNN Chile, the health authority commented on the increase in cases due to covid-19 in the country and the quarantine applied to 38 communes in the Metropolitan Region.
“I do not want to make an analysis of what was said. The moment is critical in our country and all of us as authorities, the media and people have to worry about taking charge of this virus”, he pointed.
When asked if there were messages of relaxation in the face of the pandemic, she stated that “There will be time to make an analysis of the situations, errors and various difficulties, but today the situation is so complex that it seems to me that the most important thing is for us to unite in containing the spread.”
Regarding the benefits that quarantine can have in the Metropolitan Region, the undersecretary specified that “this will allow a decrease in the spread of this virus if we all respect it and will allow us to have a less stressed health network.”
It should be remembered that the Dr. Paula Daza pointed out a weeks ago that “one could already get together for a coffee with 4 or 5 friends”, words for which she has been widely criticized.
