There is no doubt that Diego Buonanotte was one of the great figures in the suffered classification of Universidad Católica to the round of 16 of the Copa Sudamericana, as he entered the second half, scored a goal from a free kick and controlled the times to eliminate Sol de América of the continental contest.

In that sense, the Argentine midfielder has received numerous praise from his teammates, the media and from Ariel Holan, who has not regularly used him in the National Championship as international tournaments.

And this Friday the former River Plate received a new recognition, as the organization of the South American Cup published the eleventh of the week and Buonanotte was the only representative of a Chilean team to appear.

In this way, the team of the week was made up of: Sosa (Independent); Giannetti (Vélez), Menosse (Deportivo Cali), Franco (Independent); Dani Alves (Santos), Cabrera (Unión Santa Fe), De la Vega (Lanús), Good evening (Catholic U.); Arezo (River Plate of Uruguay), Ábrego (Bolívar) and Fessin (Bahía).

Let’s remember that in the round of 16, Universidad Católica must face River Plate of Uruguay, who comes to this instance after leaving Atlético Nacional on the road.
